AD Ports signs the final contract to build, operate and manage cruise ship terminals in the ports of 3 Egyptian ports



New projects for AD Ports  in Egyptian ports



 ,Today, Wednesday, June 12, 2024, AD Ports  Group signed the final contract to build, develop, manage, operate, market, maintain, and redeliver the superstructure for the cruise ship terminals in the ports of: Safaga, Hurghada, and Sharm El Sheikh.



The contract was signed by Major General Osama Saleh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Red Sea Ports, and Mr. Ahmed Al Mutawa, Regional CEO of AD Ports   Group.

 





This was in the presence of  Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister,  Engineer Kamel Al Wazir, Minister of Transport, Ambassador Maryam Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Cairo, and Captain Mohammed  Al Shamsi, Managing Director and CEO of AD Ports  Group.




Egyptian Minister of Transport Kamel Al-Wazir said that tEgyptian Minister of Transport Kamel Al-Wazir said that this contract comes in light of the launch of the great cooperation between the Egyptian Ministry of Transport and Abu Dhabi Ports Group in the field of maritime transport, and the continuation of cooperation with major international companies specialized in the field of management and operation of various stations.



The Egyptian Minister of TransporThe Egyptian Minister of Transport said that the Safaga and Hurghada stations are modern stations that were previously opened during the years 2015 and 2016, and the Sharm El Sheikh station will be upgraded and redeveloped, through a partnership with Abu Dhabi International Ports, with which the partnership represents an embodiment of the comprehensive plan of the Ministry of Transport to form strategic partnerships with major companies.
