CMA CGM launched a new shipping service starting from Antalya on July 10, 2024. This new service aims to provide coverage to the Turkish port of Antalya, with global links in Alexandria, Egypt, and Beirut, Lebanon.

CMA CGM said that the EMED 1 ship, with a capacity of 1,100 TEU, will operate on a weekly voyage from Antalya to Alexandria and Beirut.

CMA CGM has been managing the Tahya Misr terminal in Alexandria Port since its operation about a year ago. It has helped increase the movement of ships, goods and transit trade in the port, which is considered the largest Egyptian port in terms of exports and imports.
