DP World has revealed the launch of its largest ever warehouse in Coventry, Britain, as part of a £50 million ($63 million) investment programme.
Dennis Doyle, Senior Vice President of Operations at DP World, said: “Our £50 million investment in the three sites in Coventry, Bicester and Burton upon Trent is part of a wider strategy to expand our supply chain reach in the UK.
We have built a unique set of assets and capabilities to help our clients in the UK and Europe remain competitive in a rapidly changing and unpredictable business environment while serving the national interest.
The 598,000 square foot warehouse was completed last month after a two-year construction phase for 34 million pounds ($43 million).
