Ships in Red Sea ports
The media center of the Red Sea Ports Authority announced that the total number of ships present on the authority’s berths is 11 ships, and 8,000 tons of general and miscellaneous goods were handled, including 648 trucks and 249 cars. The import movement included 5,000 tons of goods, 436 trucks and 177 cars, while the export movement included 3,000 tons of goods, 212. Truck and 72 cars.
Today, Safaga Port is preparing to receive three ships: Riyadh, Amal and Sina, while yesterday the port received three ships: Riyadh, Freedom 2 and Poseidon Express.
Three ships left, namely Riyadh, Amal and Sina, and 500 tons of goods and 167 trucks were handled at the port of Nuweiba, through shuttle trips (arrival and departure) for three ships, namely Queen Nefertiti, Ur and Ayla. The Red Sea ports recorded the arrival and departure of 4,682 passengers at their ports.
